Engine Authorized Inspectors

Position Overview

We are currently recruiting Engine Authorized Ispectors to perform critical inspection activities on aircraft structures, components, and engines. The successful candidates will uphold the company’s commitment to excellence and compliance with EN 4179 / NAS 410 standards.


 

Role Purpose

Own the safe, compliant, and on-time execution of engine maintenance. Deliver inspection, repair, assembly/disassembly, and modification work in line with OEM/approved data, while maintaining tool control, documentation quality, and hangar standards.

 


 

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform engine inspection, repair, assembly/disassembly, and approved modifications per OEM/approved data (e.g., AMM/CMM/SB/AD/MOE procedures).
  • Troubleshoot and rectify engine discrepancies identified during inspections or operations.
  • Execute assigned tasks from Maintenance Management and relevant work documents/work orders.
  • Complete all required records accurately and on time (work cards, task sheets, sign-offs/CRS within individual authorization limits).
  • Apply rigorous safety practices and regulatory compliance at all times; maintain a clean, FOD-free work area.
  • Exercise strict tool control: use only calibrated/approved tooling and return all tools clean, serviceable, and accounted for to Stores after use.
  • Perform daily hangar housekeeping and contribute to 6S standards.
  • Adhere to company policies, procedures, MOE/Part-145 requirements, and department systems (including digital work management/ERP).
  • Support continuous improvement, RCA/CAPA actions, and knowledge transfer to junior staff as directed.
  • Perform any other duties within the scope of specialization as assigned by the direct supervisor.
  • Work shift patterns, weekends, and overtime as operationally required.

 


 

Minimum Requirements

      Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum 7 years’ hands-on experience in engine maintenance within an MRO or airline environment.
  • College degree (or equivalent) in a relevant technical discipline.
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken).
  • Holder of a QA/Authorized Signatory for Engine release from a previous employer (or equivalent evidence of prior authorization).
  • Completion of two or more OEM engine training courses (see engines list below).
  • Prior experience in a regulated maintenance environment (EASA/UAE GCAA Part-145 or equivalent) strongly preferred.

 


 

Mandatory/Required Training (current or renewable)

  • Electrical Wiring Interconnection System (EWIS).
  • Fuel Tank Safety / CDCCL – Level 2.
  • Human Factors (M9).
  • Aviation Legislation (M10).
  • Two or more OEM engine training courses on any of the following:
  • Rolls-Royce Trent 700
  • IAE V2500
  • CFM56-5A/5B/7B

 


 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Borescope inspection and blend/repair exposure.
  • Familiarity with digital maintenance systems/ERP and electronic task sign-off.
  • Lean/6S participation and basic CI tools (5-Why, Ishikawa, PDCA).
